🚀 Enhanced Performance Carburetor Adapter: Trans-Dapt 2086 Review

The adapter plate did not cover the carburetor base. Air escaped causing the engine to run intermittently. Removed and ordered another.

Crap. I went through two of these last month. Small nuts break too easily and aluminum is too cheap and will eventually break.

This adapter worked well. I had to adjust the shape a bit by trimming the front to fit the 2150 MC and the cleats that came with were too short for this carb so I used the old ones.

Adapter seems to be of good quality. However, it did not fit my Motorcraft 2150 carburetor properly. I have a 2100 and it would have worked on this model, but I needed to fit a 2150 in my Jeep. I end up sending this back. If you're installing a 2150 on a Jeep 258, get an adapter from an eBay seller (the Jeep guys know who I'm talking about). It's a little more expensive, but it's top quality and seals well.

Part fits well. The slots machined for the small template have a smaller slot at the bottom to keep the screws from catching too much on the collar. Fittings for a high speed carb feel cheap, the nut is very flimsy and looks like it could come loose. Apart from these two shortcomings, the adapter is well made and fits as desired. Note.
