Update from 05/12/20. After 9 1/2 months it works great. In those months of daily use, when I turn it on more than once a day, my Windows 10 computers didn't recognize it once or twice, always after a Windows update. Disconnecting the USB cable (on the computer or on the KVM device) resolved the issue. I got this as a replacement for the long time that finally went TU. This works very well. I love that it has 2 switched USB ports for peripherals as well as USB ports for KYBD and a mouse, all on the back, keeping the front uncluttered. The only downside, and then insignificant, is that each cable in the kit is a separate cable. this. one each for microphone, speaker, USB and DVI connections. Luckily the combo cables from my old KVM switch worked, so no NBD and no stars.

Does NOT work with wireless keyboard and mouse although it worked initially it only worked long enough that I couldn't return it when they then contacted tech support they said They say it's not designed to be used with wireless connection, hmmm, the instructions don't say anything about that at all, their solution is to unplug and plug in all the cables every time you want to switch to another computer. Switched 2 PCs with it to a 2560x1440 60Hz monitor and after 10 days of use I have no complaints. It works very well in high definition. I like the hotkey toggle feature as the box is out of reach on my desk. Covers PC shutdown, restart in any combination, and recovery from abnormal situations.

Good product and price. However, I had to return it as I had changed my mind about this setting. One downside (for me at least) was that if you have PC1 or PC2, for example, the light on the button will blink constantly. It continues to blink even when the computer is off. I have it right in front of my monitor so it annoys me. If I keep his face away from me, he can't bother me. Generally the product works as advertised, clean and crisp 2560 x 1600 resolution.

I have been using KVM switches for over 20 years. When my monitor failed, I had to upgrade my KVM switch to provide a higher screen resolution for the new monitor, but I needed DVI to avoid replacing graphics cards. It does what it's supposed to and works well. I play it and I don't see any video or input lag. So props for this device. 5 fingers up.

Does not switch Microsoft USB mouse to second computer. Very strange. Seems to only work if both computers are on at the same time and stay on all the time. I seriously doubt this is a typical scenario for this switch in a home office environment. I was able to find a really old PS/2 mouse and a working PS/2 to USB adapter, but the mouse would twitch and wander around the screen on its own. Very strange.

I've had several of these units from different manufacturers and they were both good and weird. This one is no different. This works very well most of the time, but sometimes when I change monitors the screen gets really small and I have to turn the monitor off and on again to get it to the right size. This is a minor annoyance in a product that otherwise performs very well and does what few other KVMs can - 2560-1440 resolution with DVI.

The KVM switch was great when it worked. Switching was smooth with no flickering and I never had any issues with my keyboard or mouse. About a year and a half after purchase, port 1 stopped working. Port 2 is still working fine and I've tried swapping the wires to see if it doesn't. Although a single port KVM switch is useless. For the money spent on it I expected it to last more than a year and a half.
