Small size and big performance!

This is a USB 3.0 hub. This is a powered hub. This means that a plug-in power supply is available. This means you can connect a USB device that needs to be powered from the USB port. Many USB hubs are not powered and are powered by the host computer. Many computers have trouble getting power to the auxiliary ports. I haven't been able to verify that this hub runs at true USB3 speeds. I have no way of measuring it. But I have connected 3 USB devices including one that needs power from the port…

Pros
  • Convenient 1m USB 3.0 cable
Cons
  • Security

So tiny, VERY CUTE! Beautiful in white.

So tiny, 2" x 3" x 1/2", SO CUTE! Visit your local CVS or Walgreens. Love the fact that the AC converts to 5V and the jack also fits another device [the other device didn't have a wall transformer.] I bought a DVD burner and needed a reliable USB 3.0 hub (for bandwidth), and the CNET reviews said, that this TU3-H4 box was full USB 3.0. The picture doesn't match, one of the output ports is on the other side, and the input port is not the one pictured. Doesn't matter. Not tested yet on a…

Pros
  • Backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I feel like I entered the 21st century with such speed!

I've heard about USB 3 for a long time, but since my old computer originally shipped with Windows XP I didn't have USB 3 ports but had several external drives compatible with USB 3, but they ran at USB 2 speed. I was fine with that. I'm just used to copying a large folder, pasting it into a backup drive and going away for a long time. I'm amazed at how noticeable the difference between 2 and 3 is. Now I have a new computer with a pair of these blue USB ports on my new computer, but not all of…

Pros
  • Full power for all USB ports with included power adapter

  • Doubtful

Good portable USB3 hub at this price - comes with power adapter

USB 3.0 adoption has been slow compared to previous USB versions. The reason for this is not clear, but one of it could be that many USB use cases other than backup are often satisfactorily handled by USB 2.0. (That's a little annoying for those of us used to putting up with replacing flawless devices with new ones that support the new standard). Price, size, number of connections and external power supply make this device stand out. It's small enough to conveniently carry in your carry-on, and

Pros
  • Add four SuperSpeed 5Gb/s USB 3.0 ports
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
