He's not a chubby kid. The hat didn't fit him, but it didn't cover his eyes either. I would recommend it for babies at least his age.

Bought a navy and white toddler trucker hat for my 5 1/2 month old boy. SnapBack for adjustment, I had to tuck it in a bit to make it fit which is great because I can let go of it as it grows! It's just styrofoam, nothing special. But light weight and face shadow, so it does the job perfectly! Cute hat for a boy or girl.
