I bought this for my 8 year old autistic son. We have to brush his teeth and he HATES it. I've heard these 3-sided toothbrushes make the process easier. But we didn't want to give up on Sonicare, because hey, 1000 beats per second (or whatever) is better than 1, right? And the less time we spend in his mouth, the better for everyone. As each of the 3 bristles has no moving parts itself and their mechanism of action is through a single vibrating head transmitted to the 3 bristles, their effectiveness in removing dirt is limited.
