Nice Computers & Accessories

When you switch inputs, they disappear from the system, so Windows rearranges all your programs and then rearranges them when you switch back. Otherwise it works fine.

Decent KVM emulated by K and M

So yes this KVM works fine with my only monitor @ 4k 60hz. I have two power systems in there. The problem I had was that it emulates a keyboard and mouse, so the multimedia functions of keyboards and wireless mice don't work with it. I use a Logitech 502 Lightspeed with a PowerPlay mat and transmitter. It would recognize it, yes, and it would work, but none of the extra mouse features worked. The solution was to run the keyboard and mouse through a USB 3 hub connected to the KVM. Works great…

Well built unit with some good features but a few major flaws

Reliable and well built, good remote but I returned it for two reasons: (1) Mouse and keyboard ports don't work with my wireless Keyboard and mouse. Using the USB hub ports worked, but I didn't have a USB hub at the time. (2) No sound switching mechanism separate from keyboard, mouse and video.

The HDMI switch on this unit works fine, but the USB 3.0 hub is very buggy. I have a Logitech Unify receiver on a hub that I had to plug directly into KVM before it worked. Still, I have occasional crashes where the device crashes and I end up typing a lot of the same characters. see? I was hesitant to buy this as some of the comments in the reviews were mentioned as negative but still agreed to buy due to the brand's good reputation in the workplace. I needed this to switch between a company laptop running Windows 10 and a Gigabyte BRIX running Ubuntu 20. I was concerned that the security policy would not work well on the laptop with KVM.
