Must be. This is my second.

This is the second one I've bought. At first I was happy to see that they are still on sale. There aren't many surge protectors of this type to buy, especially at such a cheap price. I love the fact that you have six outputs on the back, four of which you can assign to your own front panel button. I also like the "always on" outlet on the back. That way, any device you're "always on" connected to won't turn off when you press the "Home" button on the front panel. The only issue you need to be…

Better than I expected

I was replacing an old weight center that was old and broken. I've looked at a lot of surge protector power centers and this is exactly what I wanted to replace with my old one. The only thing I would like to change is to increase the spacing between the sockets on the back to accommodate one or more cube plugs. One of my plug blocks covers another outlet, so it really takes up two spaces. I had to move the monitor plug to a different location and use a dedicated monitor socket for something…

Great article on surge protector

I gave this product 5 stars because it works the way it's supposed to work. But the most important thing is that I couldn't find anything to compete with this item and it's so convenient. I connected it to my computer, scanner, external drive and speakers so I can turn them all on and off with one switch. I need to turn on the computer, but the speakers and scanner turn on with the main power switch as long as I leave the switch on the Element on. I can say that for people who only read emails…

A nifty reinterpretation of an old idea

If you've owned a computer long enough, you probably remember the power centers that used to sit between your PC and your monitor. Like less sophisticated power strips, they allowed you to plug all your devices in one place and offered some level of surge protection. Unlike a power strip, these devices allow individual components to be turned on and off, as well as a "master switch" to turn everything on and off. There are separate plugs labeled: Computer, Monitor, Printer, AUX1, AUX2 and a…
