The mat is slightly curled when you receive it, but will straighten out if something flat and heavy is placed on it during the day. The material used for the turf is durable and can withstand up to 100 hits. When used alone, it moves slightly with each shot. I plan to tape it to the chalkboard or something in the future to prevent this from happening. Overall, I'm glad I made the purchase. Definitely cheaper and better quality than some competitors.

Contrary to some other reviews, I had no trouble straightening mine. Yes, it took a minute or two to bend it the opposite way, but that's not a problem. I use it right on the grass in my yard without clogging it with thorns or anything. And hit with irons, wedges etc. No problem. It might move forward a little after a few hits, but that's not a problem, just stick it with a stick. I hit 50-100 balls a day and so far I haven't seen any wear. I don't expect it to last a lifetime but at this price

I enjoy using this mat. I've read of people having problems with mats being shipped rolled up. Maybe because I read about this problem I just rolled it in the opposite direction and taped it in place for a few hours and then put it on the floor of my office where I stood for a while. liked to throw a lot of punches.
