Great for PAD: my feedback

My husband suffers from PAD and his vascular surgeon recommended compression socks. By chance I purchased the Truform compression socks and I was very lucky. The first day my husband had them on the pain left. I texted his surgeon to ask if he could sleep in them and yes he could. After two days I ordered 7 more as we wanted one a day so I could wash them and he always has a clean pair. We store them in ziplock bags to make sure we do not mix the pairs up. These are medical grade and work…

Pros
  • Overall I am satisfied with the product.
Cons
  • They are to long for short people.

3X sizing. great support, comfortable

I had a DVT a year ago and was told I should use compression stocking. Well, I used them right after the DVT and than gradually got away from regular use. I think the fear subsided and I got complaisant :)Anyway, it been a long winter and I have not been as active as usual, my legs began hurting. I always have had swelling/edema but, I can say they began aching and I became concerned. I could not find any size over a large at the 3 large drug store chains. I also went to medical supply, it's…

Pros
  • A lot cheaper than at the medical supply store, but still a good brand name.
Cons
  • had to pay the p.o. $5.15 not happy about that

Don't Want To Take Off

I ordered the compression stockings for my sister. She works at the hospital in dietary and is on her feet contancely walking and standing.I heard her complaining about her hip and legs often. I decided she need the stockings to help her problems. I know my Cardiologist recommended it for me for my edema and to help withcirculation. My sister is thrilled!. She said she don't want to take them off. She states she don't have problems with her legs anymore.I know from experience these stockings…

Pros
  • These stockings are available in a range of sizes, including 3X-Large, to ensure a comfortable, snug fit for both men and women
Cons
  • May cause discomfort in the ankle area

Runs small in my opinion

I think they are good as compression stockings for edema. However, I followed the size guide and did the measurement. I ordered 3X accordingly but they are extremely snug. So much so that I tore the left one as I was attempting to get it over my calf. One pair wasted there. So I have one pair of 3X left which I may return. I ordered two more pairs in 4X. Hope they are better.

Pros
  • Great support
Cons
  • May be uncomfortable to wear with certain types of shoes

This has helped! on my review.

Okay my husband is a type 2 diabetic with swelling in his right leg. These socks have been a godsend for him. Years ago he broke his leg severly in football and ever since then his right leg swells up terribly. He recently contracted cellultius in his leg which caused him so much pain he had to take off time from his job. He sits alot at work and the blood will pool, due to poor circulation. These socks have helped so much with the swelling that his leg looks normal again. He had developed deep

Pros
  • It’s very tight and comfortable
Cons
  • May be difficult to clean and maintain

Good quality for price

Without being excessively expensive, they have the ideal amount of pressure for my dad, who suffers from hypertension. We love them and this is the second time around we purchase this brand! 10/10 recommend

Pros
  • The Truform compression stockings are designed to provide 20-30 mmHg compression, which can help promote healthy circulation and reduce swelling, fatigue, and achiness in the legs and feet
Cons
  • May not provide enough support for those with arthritis

Great for my lymphedema!

I am a 50 year old female 5'4" and 135lbs and ordered a Medium (based on the measurements shown on the package) and I have a love/hate relationship with compression socks! I love how they control my lymphedema swelling, but hate wearing them (especially in the summer)! Previously I purchased the 30-40 mmHg Truform socks and love them, but accidentally ran them thru the dryer which has made putting them on really time consuming because they are now so tight (even though they are synthetic…

Pros
  • The knee-high design of these stockings offers comprehensive coverage, helping to support the entire lower leg and foot
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with a history of blood clots

Great compression stockings

These compression stockings are perfect for me. I am 5'9" women with shoe size 11. The stockings are long enough on my foot, still leaving some room, they are not stretched out like other brands (Jobst), so hopefully they will not rip on my toes. They go all the way up to my knee, not mid calf, like Jobst. Truly recommend them. I got beige and black, love both.

Pros
  • These compression stockings are machine washable and easy to care for, making them a practical and convenient choice for daily wear
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with certain neurological conditions

Good quality stocking

These were great for me until i purchased actual compression socks that I love. These are better than the open toe version as those tend to roll at the toe and dig into your foot. The compression on these has worked well for me working in healthcare and being on my feet 10+hours a day. I've noticed my legs and feet are less sore than without them and the sock holds up high to the knee like in the picture. That being said, a complaint i have is that these can roll slightly behind the knee or if…

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions

Feel good after you get them on

My doctor prescribed 20-30mmHg compression stockings to improve blood circulation. I have been usingTruform stockings for over a year and they feel good, are very comfortable, and seem to be doing the job.I have tried other brands of compression stockings and keep going back to Truform. However, they are a bear for a 92-year-old to get on.

Pros
  • My husband love these stocks. Great buy and they are hard to find.
Cons
  • May not fit properly for individuals with larger calves

Legs swelling best in my review

These have been the best for me. I can wear them until the evening and take them off and not sliding down or bunching up like others. Once and awhile but not very often. I have 18” length from bottom of foot to knee so these fit great.

Pros
  • Truform 8865; Medical support hose; Unisex style durable knit; 20-30 strength graduated compression
Cons
  • May not provide enough compression for athletic activities

Be careful who you are purchasing from.

I have never had a problem with this product until this purchase. I do not know where or when the bait and switch happen, but this was not the same product I have purchased before. It was too small and the material was not the same. It felt like a cheap knockoff. Sounds like it has become buyers beware in today's market. If I hadn't already threw away the box, I would be returning these "socks" back to where ever they came from.

Pros
  • Surgical Appliance Industries
Cons
  • May cause skin discoloration over time
