Buyer Warning! - Medical Supplies & Equipment

It took as long to put a stocking on this rack as it did two stockings on your feet. Once the stocking was on the hanger, I tried several times and couldn't get my foot in. In fact, the rack hurt my leg, so I stopped trying. I have requested a refund. The request has been accepted. The customer bears the return costs. The product is packed in branded packaging, weight 3.5 kg. USPS = $27.30 from Georgia to Ohio. This was her lowest score. The size of the box determined the high speed. The…

May Not Be Disabled

After reading the reviews I had high hopes that I would use this product as an aid to people with disabilities. I have a walking disability and can't stand or balance to put it on or even sit in a regular chair to set it up. I've got a bit of paralysis and some arthritis in my hands and it took us two to get even a sock over the bars because it's so wide. We couldn't even pull on a regular oversized sock, let alone a pull-on compression sock. If you have disability issues this may not work for…

It was definitely a learning curve on how to use this product with compression stockings. Bought for my mom to help her put on 20-30 compression stockings. It doesn't stretch the socks enough to only wear knee high compression stockings and doesn't really work with thigh length 20-30 compression stockings. It doesn't stretch enough. I would only recommend this product with lower compression stockings or even better with zip compression stockings. We finally did. It is easy to put on and take…

Thanks, now I can wear my compression stockings!

Truform Tall Hosiery Cover Works great after figuring out how far I have to roll the coverall up to the knee to fit me. If I had ordered earlier, I probably wouldn't have refrained from wearing compression stockings for so long after the Doc. told me too. Before I bought this thunder, I couldn't wear my stockings because I couldn't put my foot on someone else's knee, I was wrestling, jumping and almost falling, so I gave up trying. I guess some will say I don't know how to wear them but this…

Shoe size 11-1/2 to 12. Compression socks due to being size XL - difficult to wear due to knee size XL . So I bought a Trueform Donner. Sizes up to XL are listed in the advert. DOESN'T WORK WITH MY LEGS. I read the instructions, watched the video, tried and tried again but it stuck to my swollen area of the foot and even with copious amounts of cornstarch it didn't slip - it hurt my foot. When I tried to just tuck my toes between the top of the bracket, my pinky toe dangled - NOT FOR BIG FEET…

It helps me a lot when I wear socks.

This stocking attachment is very useful for me as I can no longer hold the top of compression stockings to insert my leg. My hip joints stop working and bending becomes too hard. This article is suitable for anyone who has a problem like me. Problems with bending over due to illness or weight, problems with hands preventing them from grasping the tops of stockings, pantyhose or pantyhose, or those who lack the strength to put clothes on. By slipping the stocking over the midsection, simply tuck

Best stocking aid I've found, period.

I am very satisfied with this product. As a big guy with a condition that limits my mobility and strength, I have flexion issues and haven't been able to use my socks since. I have shoe size 11 and am 1.80 m tall. My feet swelled to a very large size, so none of the flimsy plastic socks helped. This design is the best in my opinion. Very strong and big arch allows my big foot and lower leg to pass easily. Once you've learned how to insert the stocking into the device, all you have to do is…

Any other design will render the BIG Donner useless - DO NOT BUY!

I had to read the January 18, 2018 review that explained why the BIG Donner is not working. I have a regular doner kebab. I can use it but thought a big thunder would be more convenient. I was expecting it to be made like a regular one, just in a larger size. Unfortunately, when I got the BIG Donner and put it next to the normal one, it was easy to see why no one could get it to work. 1/2" at the point 5" from the top. Thus, the "legs" are parallel to each other from top to bottom. Once you've…

It doesn't get any better.

I have been wearing compression stockings for several years due to heart disease, so I am used to the process of putting them on and taking them off. I've been using a different thunder since December 2014 and have a donning procedure that works for me. But it's starting to age a bit - it's still serviceable, but I wanted to see if I could find another one that might be a bit more durable. I saw this Truform Donner and decided to give it a try. It's about half the price of my original Thunder…
