Comfortable. Very large!

They are A LOT big but once you find the right size they are amazing shoes. My son tends to have flat feet, wide toes and narrow heels. It's almost impossible to squeeze it into shoes. He can wear these shoes and plae shoes. That's all. Anyway, check the size! They are also great for fencing ๐Ÿคบ if your kid is into them.

Pros
  • Anti-slip outsole prevents slips and falls
Cons
  • Shoes may not be comfortable for children who need a lot of cushioning.

Great sneakers - my new review

My 6 year old son gave me these shoes last year, when they were worn out I bought them here at Revain and he loves them. He loves his sneakers!

Pros
  • Stylish silver lavender color scheme
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with certain medical conditions that require special footwear.

Dear Tsukihoshi good for me

My son loves his new Tsukihoshi shoes. They fit well and are generous in the toe box. He is very happy to put them on as soon as school starts. We've had makos in a different color before and we know they last the whole school year and are washable.

Pros
  • It's so comfortable for my son, definitely his favorite shoe.
Cons
  • Shoes may be too wide for children with medium or narrow feet.

run big .... - my new rating

In my experience they are a bit big. I bought another size 4 shoe that was a bit too big, so I ordered this one in a size 3.5 and it's bigger than a size 4.

Pros
  • Cute and comfortable shoes!!!
Cons
  • The color combination of silver and lavender may not appeal to all children.

My 6 year old loves them!

So far (about 2 weeks of light use) these shoes are great for my 6 year old son. He has commented several times on how comfortable they are and how much he loves them. It appears to be a quality shoe but only time will tell how long it will last. I hope to come back in a few months and update this review.

Pros
  • I love this brand. Nice looking sneakers. The quality is amazing!
Cons
  • Shoes may not be strong enough for children who lead active lifestyles and are rough on shoes.

Great for wide feet!

There are not many options for children with wide feet. Most sneakers say they are for wide feet, but in reality they are not. The owner of the local shoe store sells this brand and told me how good they are for wide footed kids and she was right. My child is also autistic so velcro is a bonus!

Pros
  • Versatile design, suitable for different sports
Cons
  • Shoes may not be appropriate for children with certain foot conditions, such as bursitis or hammer toe.

My son almost always wore tsukihoshi shoes - he loves them and they last forever. They're a bit pricey, especially since children's feet grow so quickly, but they always look good and wash well.

Pros
  • The wide toe box accommodates growing feet
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with flat feet or high arches.

My son loves it but the quality is disappointing.

I usually like tsukihoshi shoes but this is the first time I've ordered them from Revain. The inside near the tongue looked worn after about a week when my son wore them.

Pros
  • Provides support for growing feet.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be available in plus sizes for feet that have outgrown the small child's size range.

Great for the first month

My son loved these shoes for the first month. They're not that wide. I always have a hard time finding the right width for it as it tends to be extra wide. I bought a size up, 3. But apparently that still didn't help. They are poorly made and very expensive. Nice looking shoe for the first month but falls apart quickly with normal play.

Pros
  • Innovative design promotes a healthy stride
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide enough traction for children engaged in certain sports or activities.

LESS SIZE! ....!! to my rating.

These shoes are HUGE! I ordered size 3.5 for my 10 year old son and they were too big! They were much wider and longer than size 3.5. More like a child size 5. I am a size 6.5 on women and they are even big for me! They felt like a size 7 on women. Nice shoes but made for the Yeti.

Pros
  • The only pair my son wears. Lightweight, durable, comfortable. I hope they have adult shoes too.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with narrow feet.

Great shoes but not for long

I like this shoe because it's almost barefoot - flexible sole and very little extra padding in the insole. They are also very attractive, breathable, machine washable and have velcro closure for easy on and off. Unfortunately, they are also very expensive and do not last long. My son puts them on before he outgrows them (see photo - this is after about 9 months of use).

Pros
  • Excellent wear resistance for longer wear
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with sensory processing problems who require special shoes.

almost zero shoes for children

Rather stubborn. Approaching a zero-drop configuration with a thin but protective outsole. Washable and dries quickly. Great shoes!

Pros
  • My son loves these shoes! Such fun colors. They fit as expected and my son says they are comfortable.
Cons
  • Non-slip soles may not be effective on all surfaces.

Depressed - my rating is the best in my rating

My son loves the fit of these shoes but the laces broke after 2 weeks. Very disappointed and surprised by the workmanship of a famous (rather expensive) branded product.

Pros
  • Very well made, my son wears them every day.
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide enough support for children who need extra support.

great for wide feet

the only shoe brand that fits my child's wide foot and foot height. Most "wide shoes" only consider width, not height (from arch to toe). I LOVE this brand!

Pros
  • Suitable for children aged 4-8 years
Cons
  • Shoes may not be affordable for all families with young children.

Great shoe but short lived

I like this shoe because it's almost barefoot - flexible sole and very little extra padding in the insole. They are also very attractive, breathable, machine washable and have velcro closure for easy on and off. Unfortunately, they are also very expensive and do not last long. My son puts them on before he outgrows them (see photo - this is after about 9 months of use).

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • So far so good

I only buy Tsukihoshi shoes for my son because they are amazing!

I have tried other brands of shoes but now I only buy Tsukihoshi shoes. They are amazing! they are wide. You have a great sock so my son's fingers are clenched. They are durable! (Shoes from other famous brands literally fall apart on his feet.) He's so good at walking, climbing and jumping in them. I know they are a bit more expensive than other brands but they are worth it. That's why I only buy him 1 pair of shoes per season. That's all he needs! It's awesome! Thank you Tsukihoshi!

Two sizes bigger! The size is smaller!

These shoes are available in two large sizes. My son's foot is a size 4 with a tall kid (that's also the size of his other pair of tennis shoes). I started with a size 4 and it was GIANT. I ordered 1 size smaller and it's still too big. Then I ordered another size (size 2) and it fit, but the tip was too tight. What this seller doesn't disclose is that they charge $4.98 for each return, so I'm now spending $15 to return 3 boxes of shoes that don't fit. I originally bought these shoes becauseโ€ฆ
