The tuffy alligator scale 8 gone in 3hrs

Got these because these little one peels tennis balls like apples after 10 minutes hoped this would last for 3 hours before she ripped a hole between its eyes and had to eat after the clean kill

My dog loves it in my review

I am very happy with this toy and the Tuffy's brand in general. I found the pink Pig Tuffy at a local pet store a while back and surprisingly it has lasted longer than any other stuffed dog toy. When I purchased the Gator I was hoping my dog would not be able to destroy it and so far he has not. He plays with it a lot and loves the squeaker in the head. I do not let him just chew on it endlessly; if he did I have a feeling he could destroy it. Overall, the Gator is worth the money.

Not strong enough construction

I was impressed at the construction when first arrived. However I'm quite disappointed now. I thought this toy would last for some time but it's been only One week and our 6 month old pointer/lab mix has successfully chewed through/eaten 1/2 the tail, shredding it, pulled out the stuffing and now has gotten to the squeaker (blue bubble), not to mention chewing apart the jagged material "scales" on its back. It's going to have to be thrown away soon as I do not want her to keep ingesting

This toy has an 18 hour life span

This toy was an instant favorite with our golden retriever. But he managed to tear open the top lip of the gators mouth within 8 hours, pull out all the stuffing and squeaker. All the stuffing was out of the back of the gator by the next morning. And there is a lot of stuffing (in order to make it so rugged).We gave it a 2 star rating, only because the dog LOVED it.but it didn't even last a day. They should make metal dog toys or something.this dog is a demolition dog.

Super fun and pretty durable!

Two blue heelers and this toy lasted a few months. Impressive for them. They compress so much filler into the middle once they broke into 'gator there was a lot of clean up =) we own(ed) about 5 of the tuffy's toys and they've all stood up to a few months of rough play. even when they do break open the rest of the fabric generally stays together so the dogs keep playing with it.

Long lasting. best in my review

I love Tuffy products! My dog goes through most dog toys overnight, and these last her a few weeks before she destroys them. The only reason this one didn't get 5 stars is that some of the toys have more squeakers inside than others (my puppy's favorite part!). This one is large, and only had 2 inside.

He has become my labs best buddy: ) unfortunately he was able to shred .

He has become my labs best buddy:) unfortunately he was able to shred the black portions sticking off his back but the remainder of the toy seems to stay in tact.
