All the black webbed trim keeps our busy 1-year-old puppy busy chewing for 10-minutes at a time (pretty good for him). When we first received, he carried around the crab wherever he went, and wouldn't even put it down to bark at the noises in the neighbor's yard. My dog loves these tough chew toys, BUT she is a very aggressive chewer and has them apart within minutes of getting one. As long as you watch your dog and keep him/her from eating the stuffing it will give the dog months of fun. Our dog removes the stuffing, which we immediately throw away. When she tries to get the squeakers out, we cut them out so there is nothing left but the shell. Then she happily chews on that, which is very difficult to get apart. So, these Tuffys are supposed to be tough but in 5 minutes (I timed it) she got into the stuffing on this crab . she's a pro and it's her goal in life . I wish she wanted to cuddle a toy, but her joy is unstuffing , it's a puzzle she loves to solve.I still like the toys though, after she unstuffs them, I use them as a 'puzzle solver' for popcorn or other low calorie treats for her to work for, so this crab has a good shape for that.

We gave this to our miniature Australian Shepherd for Christmas after looking around for something that claimed to last. He's had it for 5 days and almost has one of the claws off already.It's now day 6, and I came back to edit my review because my dog has now gotten through to the stuffing and can no longer use the toy. I would post a picture but i don't see an option to.

Tuffy Ocean Creature Lobster lasted 10 minutes and the Crab lasted a whole 2 days before getting all the stuffing ripped out . not so TUFF.

Did not hold up to my cattle dog chewing. I left him with it for a few minutes when I left the room and he had one of the little legs chewed and was pulling the stuffing out. He doesn't eat it, he spits it out to the side. I got it before he made a mess. Tried sewing it closed, but he just tried it with another little pointy leg, while I was sitting right there. Won't order another one for him. Other dogs may not chew like mine and I think it would be ok, just not for my dog.

This has been an awesome and DURABLE dog toy! My 7mo german shepard/chocolate lab puppy loves to chew things up but he absolutely loves stuffed toys, so I have been looking for ones that will last him more than 5 minutes--he has had this toy for over two weeks and they only damage he has been able to do it just barely chew off some of the ribbon on one of the claws. He also really loves bigger toys, and this is a winner.The only downside is that because it is so durable, it can be kind of hard…

after 3 months in the house this toy is still intact. it really can take a beating. perhaps because of that, my dog doesn't find it as appealing as toys he can rip to shreds.

So far so good. It's lasted though a sold 10 minutes of rough chewing, biting and killing. She's already chewed one part all the way off but I still have hope. I'll update when it eventually dies and let you know how long it lasted.Update: Its dead. 20 minutes in and already stuffing everywhere. I think it may be fixable. I had so much hope for this toy as my dog loves stuffed squeaky toys but literally kills them like her life is depending on it. The search for a durable toy will continue.

Had this toy for a few months and now it’s falling apart. Although our dogs are notorious for destroying toys within days or hours this thing did last a few months longer than expected.

Our pooch loves to toss this in the air and whip it around. He also loves to chew on it. I holds up really well. Even when he chews holes in it the stuffing stays put. Washes up great in the washing machine! We have had best luck with the crab and the trout.

My 95lb dogs fave toy. It lasts longer than most - usually a few months.Plus, it is hilarious to call him crab face. May not be as gentle on gums and teeth as advertised!

This is the longest lasting of my dogs toys, and she is an expert at finding the book to read toys apart! It's still in near perfect shape and she loves it.

The toy showed up almost a week late due to transfer issues, bouncing around to various states and facilities. My notifications said there was a good chance it was lost. Stuff happens, I was able to get a refund.Otherwise, my brother's catahoula leopard dog looooved this toy immediately; he was also able to rip it apart in 3 hours. I am happy he liked it so much but I wish it would have lasted longer.

One of the toughest toys our dogs have ever experienced! This crab still looks like a crab and we bought it months ago. Yay crabs! You probably don't want to celebrate that out loud though.

So I bought this once for my female Staffordshire Pitbull/Terrier and bought one for a male Lab Mix for a friend.Both of them treat their toys totally differently and I've had different results but to very similar effect.They are about the same age (older side), the Pittie is a little heavier in weight but that's because she's a lethargic old lady that likes watching HBO, but she DOESNT have as many teeth as the Lab.Normally you'd think either the Pittie will "baby" their toy or outright…

The dogs love these toys, and they last! This is a replacement for an earlier version of the same - they do eventually wear out if they dogs work on them for long enough. Nonetheless, they're incredibly durable and a good value!

My husky tears through stuffed toys in seconds. We have bought two of these toys, and the lobster, amd they are so worth the money. They last months before he is finally able to get through it. Plus the stuffing is easy to clean up.

I was so excited to see a "tuff" toy that was supposed to be stronger than typical dog toys. I have a 6 month old puppy and he was so excited to see this. Unfortunately, in less than five minutes he successfully ripped one of the legs off (I had the pleasure of digging it out of his mouth). I thought maybe it was just one weak leg and left it out for a bit, but before I knew it all the cotton stuffing was strewn all over. My $2 Target toys lasted longer than this one did.
