The device was not easy to install and after installation there was a short circuit in the system. the fuses are blown. took everything new to make sure it was right. same result. Remade 3 times. same result. went to Auto Zone bought a $5 horn button. exactly installed. worked great. I would return it but after three tries I didn't think they would take it back. so I threw it overboard.

Worked fine for me but I didn't use their schematic lol. I tried it didn't work, I don't know. I only used "ignition current" when the car was running, maybe that's the reason? I have a 5 year old and he loves horns. I attached the bases to the bottom and right posts. Then the ignition power is on the left or in the middle, and the siren is on the other side, on the left or in the middle. The top post was not used at all.

Was easy to install, wish the protrusion was a bit bigger as I installed it on a padded dash. I added a metric shim to hold the vinyl in place. It was easy to connect, I chose to only turn on the light when the button is pressed, it looks clear. The only complaint was probably my user error, I plugged it in to work the way I wanted it to, but after installing the cables and having to remove them it was hard to tell where they went as the back of the dash didn't was available. I like this switch, it's decent if a little flimsy but NO schematic. Really how hard is it to turn one on? It means "we don't care". The switch goes with 4 BLACK WIRE. I FEEL LIKE A PROFESSIONAL BOATBUILDER. It is wrong to point out serious wiring errors. Black is always grounded, red is always powered. There are no red wires for the specified power supply. This momentary switch is a joke! 16mm in diameter is very small. The button itself is the size of a coin. The whole round thing is about the size of a nickel. Feels a little dim and the LED light is barely bright. There are 5 pins and no instructions, no information telling you what the pin is or how to connect this switch. I won't even send it back, I'll probably pay more for shipping than I paid. One red and 4 black wires that came with the kit are too short. I need to solder 5 separate long…

So I bought this button for my 1969 VW Beetle. It works well as a horn button. This button is small, about the size of a fingertip. So I see no reason to only highlight the button when the button is pressed. You can't see it because your finger is in the way. Looks like a good quality button. One of the photos in the listing shows 2 buttons (one larger, one smaller). I received a smaller one. I bought this to add a loud trucker horn to my fiancé's little Honda Civic. I kept the factory beep for normal use but added a loud beep for "special circumstances" 😂 This button is for the second beep.
