4 stars because no instructions are included, but a great switch for the price.

Works as described, easy to plug in and connect to DC motor. There are no instructions in the box on which terminals to connect the wires to, hence only 4 stars for lack of instructions, but they are easy to install once you know these switch functions.

Quality Control Issues

Don't waste time if you don't have flat leads, extra wire and shrink tubing as they only supplied one leg with a jumper on it, most flat tabs weren't crimped correctly and pulled right out. The switch appears to be of decent quality, but the included wiring is subpar at best. Get the switch elsewhere for half the price.

I have an old friend who called me and offered his broken real recumbent bike. He told me it doesn't work but it's as good as new, just fix that electronic board and you're done. Well I couldn't find a replacement board and didn't know if it would still work, so I looked up how the resistor works. flywheel, and that gave it more resistance.
