I installed this on a 1997 Toyota 4Runner when the original alternator was noisy and the battery light on the dash came on. This one is new and although the price is low it runs smooth and quiet no problem.

Supplied with fitting instructions and dyno results. Fits my 2001 Tacoma just like the stock alternator. No noise when running and seems to do the job. Time will tell reliability. If it doesn't break prematurely, it's five stars, no question about it.

Installed on my truck about two months ago. But so far it's good. It worked great, but only time will tell. Bought an extended warranty for another 3 years. So with the price of a starter and an extended warranty, it's still the cheapest on the market.

I've had this generator installed for about 3 months. Installation was easy, everything was there. My 1999 stool had the original 230,000 mile alternator. It was a direct bolt-on replacement. No battery lights or check engine light. Works perfectly.

This worked great on my 2002 Tacoma 2WD 2.4L! That was about an hour's work, but that was because my son was studying with me. The only problem was that the bottom bracket was a bit wider than my old one. I used a file to reduce it down a bit on one side and it slipped right in! The tension is back where it should be.

Very happy with this product. I replaced a 'new' rebuilt viola from Autozone that I had installed 8 months before stumbling across this gem. It does its job and so far so good. Very easy to install (no mechanic - thanks YouTube!). I recommend! 98 4runner 6 cal. 4x4.
