Good replacement for spare parts

The fan works well. Perfect fit like the original. The only complaint is that it's a bit noisy at high fan speeds. Although it doesn't really bother me

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Working speed

Quality product Perfect fit

Perfect fit. Original fan clutch replaced after 250,000 miles. 5000 km driven, the clutch works perfectly. Bought many TYC products, always satisfied.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Disappears

EASY PEASY when heating

Remove the decorative strip under the dashboard / lift the tongue on the cooker motor by turning it counterclockwise / switch off the electric motor and you're done. The reverse is just as easy. This one also had a gasket (I think some brands don't) and the aftermarket I pulled didn't have it.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, quiet, doesn't vibrate high.

My old fan doesn't blow air well, causing the whole dashboard to vibrate at high frequencies. There wasn't good airflow to the rear vents on the console either. This fan is 10 times quieter than the one it replaced and moves air well. Seems to be a well made part.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Works great with little or no noise

Best price for a fan motor. Installation was quick and easy on my 05 Escalade. 6 minutes to find out it wasn't my fan motor but the controller connectors under the dash next to the fan motor area. I connected and everything has been great ever since!

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Affordable OE quality compressor

I replaced a worn blower motor assembly in my 2001 Silverado with this TYC unit. It kept blowing out the resistor module due to the high amperage my old motor drew at lower speeds. The new one works great. I get more air out at all five speeds and spent less than half the money on the replacement compared to buying an OEM. This fan motor works great and even has a direct connection to the motor cable. In contrast to the original engine, there is no pig connection.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Works great - not quite OEM fit - but I got it working.

The OE fan motor in my 2001 Silverado has been making a squeaking/squeaking noise for years. In the end I decided it was time to replace it. I bought this unit based on reviews and it was listed as compatible with my truck. Installation turned out to be more difficult than I thought - it's not the fan's fault, it's the GM engineers who designed under-dash parts that have to be removed to get to the fan. The fan is accessed with unusually large hex head screws (5/32 and 7/32), and some of these…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price
