Although the title of the description was incorrect at the time of purchase (maybe it has been fixed?), it was actually a blower that was perfect for my 2007 Expedition. It's only been up for a month, but it's still working perfectly.

Direct replacement for the original in a 2007 Expedition EL, digitally controlled (automatic air). The exchange took only 5 minutes. Works well. Examining the original fan motor, the original motor design seems to be really good, but they used coarse compound on the brushes or too much spring pressure on them.

Just what I needed to fix the intermittent blower motor on my 2007 Ford Expedition with digital temperature control. The engine was slightly denser than the original. Otherwise, operation is as smooth and quiet as the original part.

Installing the fan was quite easy, nothing complicated. It was a little hard to understand, but this is a Ford design, not a fan. It worked fine over the summer and fall, but exactly a year after purchase, that fan died too. When cold it started making noise like the bearing was flying out. Very noisy, but only in cold weather. It stopped completely this morning. It wasn't worth the savings, just rent a sphere and buy the real thing from your local auto parts store.

The fan in my 08 Expedition was turned off intermittently. No rhyme, no reason, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Replaced the original with this product a few months ago and it's been working great ever since. This fan is as quiet as the original and just as fast.
