I buy these to keep as a memento on my Ikea bookshelf. I can just put two next to each other and they won't hang over the edge, but they aren't very strong. I planned to store some plasticine toys and some art supplies. I don't think they will last very long. Love the colour, size and lid but am disappointed with the strength/durability.

Strong chemical smell lingered for months even after airing. I want Revain to require sellers to post all materials they use to create and store products. It is very harmful to bring these chemicals into our home where they are inhaled by loved ones. Nice storage container. Looks great. But even after airing it out for months, I keep my clothes in it and they still smell like chemicals. Now my clothes smell. I was hoping it would work but the smell is too bad.

I love everything about these attractive, sophisticated storage containers. They can take a lot, are quite sturdy and roomy and look great on my shelves. It takes you 2 seconds to jump out and put the safe item on the "bottom" of the trash can. Now I have four of these in my office and bedroom. I highly recommend them. They seem useful for storing light objects. The lids simply snap open, no clasp required. The faux leather handles look cheap. but to be honest, the boxes are not expensive. The problem for us is that the flattened cockroach guts crushed two hard bottom liners that were packed separately in a folding box. I understand this is from a factory in China and roaches are ubiquitous, but finding a dead roach in the box your professor wife wants to keep some of her academic journals in is embarrassing.
