Mounted on a caravan

I bought these to monitor my caravan's tire pressure. It took longer to remove and bolt on the tires than to set up the console to fit my setup. All in all, it took about 15 minutes from unboxing to installation, and everything works exactly as I hoped. Can't confirm durability or longevity but first impressions make me glad I made the purchase. It's reassuring to be able to monitor tire pressure while towing and avoid potentially serious damage to my RV.

Easy to install and program

This is the second TPMS I have bought. The first was from another company and after 2 weeks I gave up setting it up. I wanted a TPMS for my van so I bought one, installed two sensors for my single axle trailer and then spent two hours reading the 12 page manual. I finally gave up, I think with a tire pressure gauge and an infrared thermometer I can monitor tire pressure and temperature more easily and accurately. The instructions are useless, the display freezes, and I'm an engineer and can…

Good value for money

I bought this for my 25ft trailer after seeing many positive reviews. It was relatively easy to assemble, but for some reason the tires weren't aligned to run. Although the sensors are labeled RF, LF, RR, LR, they were not shown in those positions on the monitor. However, the instructions that came with it were pretty easy to read and I was able to reset the sensors and then resync them in the correct position. After that there were no problems and everything went great on our first trip. The…

Some things I like, but others I doubt. Updated January 3, 2021

I've seen reviews that the main unit does NOT go to sleep (no display), my unit goes to sleep and usually wakes up when I close the car door. My problem is that of the 4 seniors (the free one should have been sent as a free gift with my purchase but hasn't received it yet) they don't seem very calibrated. I add air to my cold RAV4 before a ride to cool 33 pounds while driving a block constantly reads "slow" for what better term. On 3 devices I can see the tire temperature and air pressure…

1 Year Update: Tow Safety Worth

UPDATE: So I bought these about a year ago after a highway accident. I would like to report that the product still works great. After opening the camper for our first outing, I had to inflate the tires as usual. The overall pressure in each tire was lower than in previous years, only 15psi instead of 20-25psi. I still recommend this product and it only works with the included controller. Batteries still work and will be replaced if necessary. Happy follower! Bought these for my 30ft street…

Ideal for caravans

Excellent for caravans. There are sooo many of these cheap TPMS on Revain without reviews it's impossible to know what's worth trying and even they are varied. For me this is the third. I was determined to find one that worked when it was on the market. Well, that's it. I hooked it up to my truck with the factory TPMS. The first pass grade is for the fact that there is no impairment. Second, it responded precisely to increases and decreases in pressure while driving. Let me add that I checked…

Very impressive so far

I bought a solar powered wireless Tymate TPMS tire pressure monitoring system for my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 after driving on a slow flatbed while camping last summer. We almost got stuck on the track because we only found the leak away from any services. We pumped up the tire, but it leaked almost as fast as the pump filled the air. We were lucky to get into town before it got any worse. Had we had a TPMS system, we could have identified the problem earlier and avoided a risky situation. We…

Very useful tire pressure sensor - also for a spare wheel

About a year and a half ago I bought 2 of these TPMS units for 2 of my cars; although they were branded differently (as Tymate). They have proven to be very helpful as they work well and save you the trouble of manually checking your tire pressure every week or two. This Tymate device is an upgraded version of the two I already own. We fixed a firmware bug (not a major bug) and put in a regular monochrome backlit LCD display. Summer heat slightly affects color display on older devices; Several…

The first was junk. The second worked perfectly.

After doing a lot of research and reading reviews I purchased a Tymate Solar TPS for my RV before picking it up. When it arrived I tested it on my car. How painful. Sensors had to be constantly re-clocked or tire positions had to be changed. The buttons on the device didn't work and I got stuck on a menu item and couldn't exit. The instructions were poor and the device did not respond as instructed. I've spent over two hours putting things on, taking them off, putting them back on, taking them…
