    Outstanding - outperforms Engenius Enstation5-AC

After a year of battling Engenius junk hardware and firmware, I've shelved them for Ubiquiti Nanobeam (lack of tech support, firmware features not implemented or unimplemented). behave correctly, unstable hardware (system reboots several times a day, can't login over and over again.) There are some decent videos to watch BEFORE installing/configuring. Built-in tools and diagnostics are everything. Can't comment on the range but I have two devices, line of sight at about 200ft (house to barn)…

The first wireless bridge I really *like*!

I've been using wireless bridges for almost as long as 802.11b has existed. But typically these were access points with bridge functionality added a little late - often not very reliable, always tedious to set up (with terrible documentation on how to do it). Over the years I have tried 3 different models. Then comes Ubiqity with NanoBeam. Very easy to set up, with a *nice* graphical user interface that can be accessed via a web browser as well as an iPad app. Separate management IP so the IP…

Works great and integrates easily with my old Nanobeam M5

I have a point-to-point connection between my house and my mother-in-law's house. I use Nanobeam M5 radios for communication. One of them died and had to be replaced. I bought a NanoBeam AC to replace it. I had to update the firmware on the remaining M5s and change a few settings to get the link online, but once that happened it worked great. Installing the downloadable app was successful, but I ended up going back to the web interface as I found it easier to work with (the app doesn't give you

Great product for less than a month Cable TV will cost you

I'm NOT a networking guru/techie but I've sporadically installed networking gear for our small business over a couple of years. Ubiquiti does great things and when we replace old hardware we almost always stick with their products for cost reasons. It's not a product that's customizable, it's what you make of it. Don't buy it expecting to connect your distant relatives 100 miles away to your internet through a forest of buildings etc. They say 10km+, but I'd say if you want really good…
