These earring backs offer great support when wearing heavier earrings. I like them so much that I even use them for my earrings, which aren't that heavy because they help the earlobes. I came out of the 80's with heavy earrings and stretched earlobes. Now I take care of my ears so much that I don't wear too many earrings anymore; but with these I can wear them again. Sometimes they hang on the counter. I just squeeze them with pliers and everything is fine.

I bought the size 7" and am very happy with it. I just can't handle the tiny backs that come with most studs. I have these earrings with three different earrings Tried them out and they work well. They seem to be long lasting and I plan to buy another 9" set and try them out with the larger earrings. I plan on trying to sleep in them with some cubic zirconia's before I move in I love my diamonds.I'm impressed with how firmly they hold my studs.I can't comment on how they go with floppy ears…

I have thin and small earlobes and many heavy fashion earrings. Need a large disc earring at the back for them to sit properly. These larger earrings work better than the plastic discs. I received a one piece clear plastic construction disc that came in a pack of 50 pairs. They worked but were difficult to put on and take off and certainly looked cheap for my massive diamond earrings.
