Bad quality, bad design, misleading description

Very disappointed. The first problem: The product description states that it is "aluminum". It's NOT aluminum. It is made entirely of plastic and simply painted grey. This is an outright deception. The second problem is poor product design. Before inserting the drive into the main drive case, it must be placed in a plastic tray. After inserting the drive into the tray, you need to attach cheap plastic support rails to the sides of the tray. Without the support rails, the drive will not sit…

Hy Meyores Opsiones. Not recommendable.

Me decepcionó este producto. Lo compré porque tengo buenas referencias de la marca, pero este attachment es un fiasco. Realmente it TOTALMENTE de plastic. La forma de poner en la bandeja am meter el disco duro es muy poco fiable. Poner y quitar la tapa es muy engorroso, parece que se va romper. The pestaña de sujeción de la tapa non funcionó u se puede deslizar fácilmente sin ningún seguro. Installing the hard disk is very easy. You remove the bottom, take out the plastic tray, put the hard drive in the tray, install the plastic brackets, put the tray + hard drive in the case, and finally put the bottom back in place. Bought to see if this case would work with a higher capacity hard drive.

I have an 18TB Western Digital Gold hard drive that I wanted to put in an enclosure. When asked on the Internet, this turned into an opinion with few technical details. I was hoping to find out that I could still use the case up to the rated maximum depending on the SATA USB interface chips while the HDD is much larger than supported.
