They are great for identifying my kittens. I cut them down to a smaller size and they are great. The vet even remarked on how cute they were about the kittens upon exam.

Lasts great at 3 weeks. Vivid colors and you can cut the collar according to your size. I gave them to a kitten under 150 grams. They fit perfectly. Be sure to attach them so that you can put your pinky through them to m. A little more and the kittens' hands will get stuck in the collar.

Soft and adjustable but be careful your pups don't get tangled or stuck. No quick release, because velcro. Any collar can cause a choking hazard when puppies are first born! And puppies grow quickly, so you need to monitor the fit of the collar. If it's too tight, they won't be able to breastfeed properly. Overall I would buy again but still use other methods of identification.

As a Labrador breeder I can attest that puppies grow quickly. These collars are amazing. Get a few sets so you can scale down the first few for the first few weeks and then swap out for the full size ones. I wish they had made these collars a little longer for large breed dogs. The velcro worked better than expected and the puppies rarely pulled them from their siblings. Will order more for my next litter.

They are great! I have a litter of all red adopted kittens so they help a lot in keeping them straight for weighing etc. I had to cut off the tips a few inches so the kittens wouldn't go mad trying to chase the ends of their tails, but so far she's been great. I like that the velcro is about 2 inches long but still very flexible. And nobody managed to remove the collar or strangle themselves or others, which is basically ideal.

We ordered 3 different types of collars, we liked these the best but they are TOO THICK and long for newborns but we changed that! We halved them lengthwise and then cut them a few inches long and now they are perfect for our newborns, probably up to 2-3 weeks old. We can buy more sets as they get older so we can get the length back, but as newborns I find they are way too thick and long unless you alter them.
