Pretty decent travel flask - still tastes a bit off, though

PLUSES: LOVE the color, love the construction, doesn't leak, easy to clean, collapsible, dishwasher safe!MINUSES: Doesn't always stand upright, no cover for the drinking tip so it can get dirty rubbing against things (including your fingers when opening/closing it), water tastes a bit like plastic even after multiple washes by hand and dishwasher, takes 2 days for the inside to dry out.I do plan to keep using this, as it saves on plastics. Many water dispensers in public places have pretty…

Pros
  • Super-easy to use and operate
Cons
  • May develop an odor if not properly cleaned

developed a leak?: my feedback

I loved it when i used it in my travels in seattle recently and it fit neatly in the pocket of my patagonia packable tote too. though recently post a wash in the middle rack of the dishwasher, it seem to have developed a leak near the neck.

Pros
  • Wide mouth opening makes it easy to refill
Cons
  • May not fit comfortably in a backpack’s side pockets

High Function for Ski Lifts

I used a platypus collapsable water bottle for many years until it started to crack and leak water. I like this bottle because there is minimal hard plastic around the nozzle, which makes me feel safe incase I fall on it while doing outdoor sports. I like that there is a sip nozzle so I don't risk loosing the cap while drinking water on ski chairlifts. I can also fit this in a fanny pack for spring skiing, which I like. I don't like how the threads of the nozzle to the bottle and the direction…

Pros
  • BPA-free construction ensures safe drinking water
Cons
  • Can be hard to use with one hand

Awesome! Really love it!

I love this water bottle. I have used it in about 5 sports events now and it's holding up fantastic.I read about a smell so -- I put lemon water in it and left it in the fridge for about 48 hours, and then rinsed it before I used it for the first time and the taste was all right. This is pretty durable, moments before I started writing this review I realized I had left it on the floor and the leg of my chair was on it while I was sitting in the chair, and it's fine.Have recommended this to…

Pros
  • Can be used for other liquids besides water
Cons
  • May not fit perfectly in a pocket or purse

Awful plastic smell

It has an awful plastic smell, multiple washes couldn't get rid of it. That made the water taste strange. I don't think I'll use it. It's a shame for an otherwise nice bottle, right size, easy to carry and pack.

Pros
  • Use it backcountry skiing and love that it gets smaller in my pack as I drink.
Cons
  • After 5 washes, still tastes & smells of chemicals. Unusable.

Disaster on impact on my review.

I dropped on my floor while it was full of water & top on tight but a cut on bottle from the impact due to the hard ring made inside the bottle at the top. I just purchased it and didn’t get to use it.it leaks now

Pros
  • Great for kids and adults alike
Cons
  • May not be as comfortable to hold for extended periods of time

Tastes like plastic

It's a nice bottle that hangs nicely from a belt or pack better than a round bottle. It does not leak but it imparts a plastic taste to the water. I have washed it many times and use filtered water but it still gives the water a bad taste. I haven't decided yet if I am going to return it or not. I certainly expected more considering it says it is BPA free.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • May feel flimsy in your hand

Great concept: my feedback

It leaks a little bit and when pouring water into a cup it tends to spill. Other than that great concept and I still use it. Just have to be careful with being a little messy. But I only put water in it

Pros
  • FLIP TOP CAP - Made for drinking during activity, an easy open cap cover keeps the self-sealing silicone nozzle clean.
Cons
  • The nozzle may become clogged with dirt or debris

Very lightweight, perfect for exploring the great outdoor

This is very lightweight and well made. When I go biking, heavy backpacks can hurt my back so I want to carry a bit of water during the summer months in as light a bottle as possible.

Pros
  • Adjustable flow valve lets you control water dispensing
Cons
  • Not suitable for freezing

Great for when space is at a premium.

Took this on a trip to Europe. Great water bottle. Collapses completely when not in use. The only downside was the little bead of water that dropped from the cap tip when I closed it. I quickly learned to sip as I closed.

Pros
  • Can be tossed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning
Cons
  • The mouthpiece may wear out over time

Great for Hiking for my opinion

I like to carry extra fluids when hiking without all the bulk of carrying a empty container. This collapsable hydropack is great! I highly recommend this little hydropack.

Pros
  • Large capacity holds plenty of water for extended adventures
Cons
  • The water may have a slight plastic taste

Good product good for me

Highly recommend this, just completed a backpacking trip with two of these as a clean and dirty bag. Fits a Sawyer filter, the loop handle is nice for filling in streams and the kids didn’t leak.

Pros
  • Clear construction allows you to easily monitor water level
Cons
  • May not stay upright when placed on a flat surface

It smells so bad inside. I couldn't use it.

Very disappointed that it smells bad inside as I had really hoped to rely on this product. Also, surprised that it smells, b/c it is silicone, and other silicone products I have bought have no smell. Want to return this item.

Pros
  • This product was incredible!! Very easy to use and very strong material.
Cons
  • Limited capacity

hope you like sucking water

this is a solid product. well designed. doesn't have *as* horrible a plastic taste as my other hydropak. but there is a design element that made this bottle useless for me.i have an older model version of this with a screw top. i use these in my dog's pack, as it's a good size and squishy makes it easy and comfortable for him to carry. but the nozzle on this bottle of designed such that you cannot squeeze water out - awesome for preventing accidental leaks, but awful if you want to use this to…

Pros
  • Refillable design reduces your carbon footprint
Cons
  • Not ideal for use during extreme temperatures

Who tested this? on my review.

User experience terrible, returned. Difficult to open and close to refill and had to squeeze really hard to get a drink.

Pros
  • Reduces waste and saves money in the long run
Cons
  • The water may slosh around noisily when the pouch is not completely full

No cap to bottle?: my feedback

Bottle arrived without a cap. Not sure how to contact seller to get a cap? Otherwise, these bottles are usually really great, I only bought a new one because I lost my old one. Can't wait to start using this one.

Pros
  • Light weight
Cons
  • May not fit in all cup holders

Not as durable as I would have hoped.

I'm glad I'm not using this as my only water bottle on a long term hike. I have used it a few times to try it out before hiking a section trail on the AT and the last time I used it, it leaked all over my desk at work because it had 3 holes at the top of the pouch. I guess I'll be looking for another option on my hike.

Pros
  • DURABLE & LIGHTWEIGHT- Made of abrasive-resistant TPU, the Stow can be frozen and is dishwasher safe, at under 2 oz it’s 80% lighter than most hard bottles.
Cons
  • Can be awkward to hold

Great for back packing!

My husband and I used these while hiking the Muliwai trail in Hawaii. We loved how compact they can be, no matter how much liquid is in them. They fold up small when not in use. The drinking spout is easy to use. We loved them!

Pros
  • Cute, stylish colors to choose from
Cons
  • Can collect debris if left open and exposed to the elements

Tastes Disgusting even after multiple cleanings

Something is wrong with this material. super strong rubber/plastic aroma and taste even after attempting to clean multiple times. Basically unusable. If it weren't for the taste, the design is great and I'd use this often, but instead it goes in the garbage.

Pros
  • Allows you to stay hydrated on the go
Cons
  • May discolor over time

My thoughts on the Hydrapak.

I like how it holds it's form, when full. It's kind of a pain in the arse to fill, but when full. it rocks! Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Provides instant thirst relief wherever you go
Cons
  • The cap may become stiff and difficult to turn over time
