Very upset and disappointed with this purchase. I bought this to protect my couch from an incontinent dog, but the urine got wet right away and the couch still got hit! It could be made from tissue paper with equal success. Now the couch is soaked in dog urine and it will never be the same again. DO NOT trust this product!

After reading many positive reviews I bought two Twin XL models. The first thing I noticed was that the underside was made out of a smooth vinyl material. When I threw on a blanket and slept in it one night, I was disappointed. I've noticed that the slick backing material causes the sheets to slide in place while you sleep. The lids also feel like plastic. I won't buy these again. I don't need waterproof cases so I use the best quality cotton.

These are NOT waterproof mattress pads! This is false advertising that they are 100% waterproof! In fact, they are NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL! who haven't been on the potty yet, and every morning the urine ran straight through the pad into the mattress. A complete waste of money and the purpose of the purchase. Read some other reviews (wish they were before buying) which also say they are NOT waterproof. The mattresses are now stained, wonderful. DIRTY AND FALSE ADVERTISING!

I always thought having mattress covers was like sleeping on a sheet of plastic - hot and minty. This has a soft top layer, like a thin terry towel. I don't really know HOW it keeps moisture from escaping, but it definitely does NOT look like plastic wrap. We had a cat with some. . . . . A dream comes true with this mattress topper! This makes our plush mattress even more cuddly and we sleep on clouds. The bedspread is so soft and comfortable to sleep on and it's so much better than I could have imagined! The only thing that could have improved my experience is if you could dry the lid on high heat. You must be careful not to dry this coating at high temperatures. Otherwise it's perfect!
