I used to love this toothpaste. I've been a regular customer for 2 years. I have always bought a jar but this time I bought a pack of 2 jars. Unfortunately, I don't understand what happened to the taste of this toothpaste. Now it has an overwhelming flavor reminiscent of mint. I really like this toothpaste. My husband, who doesn't normally choose alternative products, switched from Colgate to this one. We've both been using it for a year and a half or more. Afterwards the teeth become very clean and fresh. You also don't have to spit out all that coarse suds from regular toothpaste. As others have said, sometimes it's better than a teeth cleaning! I have also successfully remineralized a cavity using this toothpaste, fermented cod liver oil and reduced sugar/cereals.

This review is not intended to discredit any other product but I will compare it to another I have used for clarification. I have sensitive teeth and have tried several products over the years to reduce sensitivity. For this reason, I currently don't use toothpastes with fluoride and potassium substrates, which seem to aggravate the sensitivity of my teeth. I've been using this for years. The teeth are always clean after use. My husband and I haven't had any new cavities since we switched to Uncle Harry 3 years ago. My husband and I have not had any problems with gingivitis or sensitive teeth since using this product.
