I have this to illuminate my Ikea Detolf showcase. I have 2 lights side by side so this set of 4 was just right to light up the top and middle shelves. I was able to thread the string through the existing hole at the top and invisibly tie the extra one at the top. It's a nice bright white light. Exactly what I needed. Pros: The lights have diffusers so they are softer than the second picture on the list. Holes which is a fantastic design option! The glow is a very warm light. Update 3/9/18: the seller saw my review and contacted me even though my warranty period had already expired, he sent me another new device. I really like these lights, they work very well for this application. I installed them at a 45 degree angle inwards under the front edge of the shelves I installed in the kitchen.
