Very happy with landline phones

I've been using Uniden D1680 for a few months now and I'm very happy with the product. If it has all the features you could want at a very reasonable price. The signal quality is excellent. I've walked half my yard with it and it still works well. A week later I bought a similar model with no answering machine on the other end of the house, it also works perfectly. So far very satisfied.

Terrible! We rarely use our landline at home and.

Terrible! We rarely use our landline at home, and the few times we try, we can't get through. The phone is always in trouble. Sometimes it acts like it's not charging (although it's ALWAYS plugged in), it's difficult to erase messages, and often you have to press a button when picking up the phone and instead of answering the call, it really hangs up. What a waste of money.

Uniden cordless phone

I received these phones on 9/1/14. On 01/25/14 I got a lot of feedback and interference at my end of the line. When I make or answer a call I can hear the person very clearly, but when I'm on the phone I hear feedback and interference. I called Uniden support several times and thirty minutes later I held and hung up. I want to return these phones but I have already thrown away the packaging. Where can I return these phones? Thanks for your help.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Ratio set

90 days later Phone still works fine. No quality issues I bought this unit to replace a VTech CS6229-3 DECT 6.0 cordless phone, Silver/Black, 3 answer speakerphone and while I am quite happy with this unit it cannot be compared to Vtech. The vtech speakerphone is one of the best in its price range, fewer features on uniden is ok at best. it is often interrupted. The answering machine and the handset work perfectly as expected. Clarity on par with vtech. Maybe a step up. If you're using a…

Works great in office electronics

First I ordered a set of phones (three). Then I accidentally dropped one in the sink. Not only did I want to replace this phone (it didn't work after it dried), I wanted two more phones. It is cheaper to buy an additional base station with three receivers than to buy additional phones. I could easily register three extensions in the original base. Just make sure the phones are fully charged before registering them. (The manual doesn't say this.) If they're not fully charged, they won't…

A few questions! - Office Electronics

These phones don't have an option to completely turn off the rear screen when not on the charger, so they eventually die even when not in use, unless they're on the charger the whole time because they don't call. . Also, there were no instructions other than for the disc, which will not work on any CD player, DVD player, or computer. So I don't really know what's on the record. I figured out all the features myself. The big problem is that while the headsets show I have a message on the phone…

Disappointment after the past Uniden

Bought this phone to replace old Uniden Dect 6.0 phones that were having problems (battery won't hold charge, bad buttons). Very disappointed with this new hardware. With the old Uniden, I would get a "search" message regularly - once a week or two. It appeared before the call, very rarely during the call. These Uniden D1680-3 phones do not display a search message - the phones simply turn themselves off during a call (about once a day!). About 50% of the time the phone recovers itself (the…

Excellent model, very happy to have updated

This system has many improvements over my previous system. First, all phones now "share" information. So if you enter your phone book in ONE handset, it is now available to ALL phones. Likewise, information about missed calls and caller ID is displayed on all phones. Second is the ability to put the phone into "sleep mode” (which again applies to all phones and can be done from any device). Previously, if you actually wanted to turn your phone off completely (so it wouldn't ring anywhere and…
