I have a 2017 Insignia 24" flat screen in my kitchen. Tried to hook it up to a TV..2 with power and volume controls and one without. That's why I got this remote. What i have done i switched a roku with power and volume control from bedroom to kitchen that works with insignia tv and used this remote for samsung tv in bedroom it perfectly matches your samsung tv remote hence 3 stars any tv .It doesn't.But when it works,it does the job.

The remote works great on my Hisense "Roku TV" - however the instructions that came with it weren't that good. I had to go to the company's website and download a PDF with full instructions to figure out how to get the remote to work with my TV.
