Not safe without gloves. Surface peels off like metal foil

I've had many years of hand tool experience, but I've never encountered a tool this fragile. With the first light use, the chrome began to peel off in the form of thin metal shavings, which caused me to cut my arm several times with paper. Not safe to use without gloves
