Two of the six are missing the nut and bolt. I have to go to a hardware store to get a replacement. I order online so I don't have to go to the stores. This lack of quality control defeats that purpose.

I removed old obsolete glass balls and added Edison lightbulbs. I painted the cages black to match my decor. Great upgrade because I didn't want to mess with removing the vanity.

Do not recommend buying this item. It arrived with half the hardware missing, and the parts looked like they were poorly spray painted with metal showing through. Returned immediately.

I took a white plastic, let's face it, plain lampshade from a Medusa floor lamp and installed these lampshades onto it. He turned a cheap lamp into a really cool modern expensive custom lamp. I am very happy with it. These shades come with a screw and washer to keep them nice and secure. I only needed 5 not 6 but this set was cheaper for 6 than if he bought 5 individually. Definitely recommend.

I've read reviews that said these lightweight cages came without the necessary gear. Since I didn't want to invest a lot in this "idea" for my lamp, I ordered it anyway. There are six cells. One of them arrived broken. One of them had no bolt or nut at all to attach it. You only had a screw without a nut. They all had to be bent into a round shape to fit over the lamp.
