Looks sharp on my 2011 4dr Rubicon. Installation of the bumper itself was a snap however I had a blue ox receiver on the front from when I flat towed the jeep behind an RV. This was problematic to removing the receiver so new bumper would fit. Something to look out for when installing is other aftermarket items. However this in no way was the bumpers issue. Overall took me about 4 hours to get the old equipment off (cutting case hardened bolts) then including wiring with really good connections

The ad states it's 5/32 inch thick metal. My micrometer shows 4/32 and that includes the textured paint, so I'd guess at 3/32"? 4/32 is =1/8". That last bumper I purchased was the same way. One hard pull with a 10,000 lb winch was turning the whole bumper into a pretzel. I ended up installing a 1/4" steel base plate for a winch under the bumper tied to the frame. Well for the money, you get what you get. I wanted lights so I bought this Over the Smitybilt for the same money. Wish I would have bought the smitybilt mainly because the trailer hitch angles down and is a very loose fit for a hitch. It does work, but could have an easy design change to get the hitch level, but would take a ton of cutting, welding and painting for me to fix it. So I’m gonna have to live w it.

I had a slight issue with the mounting plate on the bumper, slightly bent, probably happened during shipping. Found a slight chip like it had been dropped. It made it aim downward some, but the bolts in the hardware kit were long enough that I put some washers between both mount brackets and it looks fine now. No harm no foul. For the price you get a decent deal. Installation is a breeze and goes together well. Finish was great and the parts seem quality. The issue I have is that even with a stock tire the bracket that holds the it is only held on by two bolts. This allows a lot of play in the channel it attaches to and any bump makes it wobble around enough that you can see it in your mirror. This is no matter how tight you tighten the lugs or the bolts for bracket. Still trying to figure out a fix for it.

Easy install. Solid bumper. Some customers have reviewed problems with the receipt of the bumper. The box was beat up, but the cushion wrapping around the bumper protected it. Bumper bolts right up very easily. But there are no instructions for wiring the lights as others have indicated. The existing wiring was easy enough to figure out if you are mechanically inclined but they will be on cheapo remote switch and not use the stock switch. Plus not all the connections were made in the wiring kit supplied.there were plugs for the fog lights but then you needed to wire to the wiring harness provided. That makes no sense! Shipping was extremely fast for me. Ordered on a Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. Packaging looked good but there was a small dent on the right side of the bumper. Installation is pretty easy and didn't take more than a hour. The spare tire does hit the bumper and jams the door tight but a few spacers took care of that. Looks really good once finished.

hated this bumper at first but after I busted out my miller 251 and made some improvements this bumper is excellent. Note the powder coat is junk be ready to have it sandblasted and recoated soon. But for what I paid for this I'm happy

Great so far just installed it few days ago! instruction are horrible we just did our own thing and watched a video also to make sure. But other than that there is no rattling anymore from spare and a great product for the price!

I love it. It looks great on my Jeep. My dad installed it for me and said once he got the factory bumper off, the install was a piece of cake. Lights are super bright. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

I love the bumper. But. At both ends it was like they dragged the box and the bumpers edges came out and wore one side down to the metal and the other side not as much.

Looks very nice but not what I would consider sturdy. We live in an area with lots of deer and I was hoping for something sturdier. The fog lights are awesome.
