These look just like OEM - same plug style, same wire braid style, same probe style. The only difference from OEM is that these are a bit shorter (perhaps 12-18" shorter than the ones that came with our smoker).That's the only complaint, that the lead is shorter. Other than that, 100% satisfied.

Bought these for a new Pitboss grill (small traveler size) pellet grill. They do the job they are supposed to do. Have only used 2x so I can't speak for how long they will last but they are fine for my needs.

Bought a used Pit Boss pellet grill and didn’t get any probes with it. These work great and we’re delivered very quickly.

It gives the convenience of knowing what the internal temperature of your meat without having to open your pit and slow the cooking time.

We used this on our pitboss smoker and it's great because you plug it into your smoker and insert in your meat so all you have to do to check your meat temperature is read the Gage! You don't have to open your smoker and lose heat. I would recommend this to anyone it is awesome.

These probes appear to be accurate once the grill/smoker is warmed up. I had them reading 70 degrees when it was plugged into meat straight from the fridge. But it gets more accurate once the everything heats up.

Worked out great! I bought my buddy’s grill, and it didn’t have any probes. These arrived quickly and helped me cook the meat perfectly. The temps are accurate when compared to my regular thermometer.

Perfect replacements for your grill. I have additional bluetooth temp meters so this is not my primary source of gauging food temps.

Probes look heavy duty and quality made. Would have liked the wires to be a little thicker but more importantly, about twice as long. I should have paid closer attention to the description. They will probably work fine but I will be limited on ability to maneuver when meat is in the smoker.

These seem high quality. The probe temp differs from the thermometer on the hood and the thermostat on the display. Not sure which one is right.

Purchased to add this to my pit boss pellet grill. Was a great value compared to other brands. I was skeptical of the accuracy so tested with my digital temp probe to see how close the temp was. It was dead on with the temps when I compared. The length of the cable is great to run from your grill plug ins to the grill surface. The tips are nice and sharp to penetrate the meat for accuracy. Easy to use reporting accurate temperature delivered fast in good quality packages fit the outlet perfectly. Not a good value for the price.

These work well for my intent. I got these to use with a pitmaster IQ130 since their replacement probes were 3 times the cost. These showed the same temperature as theirs when I tested them side by side. The temperature is off from my thermoworks thermapen, but I attribute that to my controller and not necessarily the probe. The probe itself is rather thick so it’s difficult to use with some cuts like ribs, but overall they do the job.

Bought these to use with my Pitboss. Used them for the first time today, smoking 2 pork butts. Probes read at 165. Pulled them out to wrap them. Checked with my old Bluetooth probes and they said they were at 130. Got my old school thermometer that I used for years as a cook and that read at 131. I don't know how a probe can read 35 degrees off, but that's extremely dangerous. Putting in for a refund now.

Pit Boss Owners Manual says that only probes bought from Pit Boss would work with their smokers/grills. I bought these to test and compare. I bought this and tested it on a pork shoulder over a 12 hour cook. Initially the temp difference between the probe that came with my smoker and this one was 6 deg different, but after about 15 minutes both probes were within 2 degrees of eachother (and a third digital probe). Throughout the cooking process they rarely differed.

Only one of them works, and continuously goes dead unless wiggled after about 30 seconds.The other one works perfectly and seems very accurate. This would have been a 5 star review if they both worked.

These probes are not safe to use. I was cooking chicken, and saw that the probes were reading 180. I thought I’d overcooked my food, but when I opened my pit boss, the chicken still looked raw. So I went and grabbed my thermopro. Sure enough the chicken was in the 130s. I’ve posted a picture I just took showing that there is a considerable discrepancy. The whole point of using thermometers is to make sure you’re hitting certain temps, and these cannot be trusted.

I accidentally got my "official pitboss" temperature probes to close to a heat source that was too high of a heat for them when flash searing some steaks on the grill, they broke. I replaced them with these, they work the same as the pitboss originals and were cheaper to replace than from pitboss itself.
