Bought a few of these to replace some of my plug ends. I really like the added re-enforcement at the cable pass through since I am moving these cables constantly that has been a weak point for other plugs I’ve had. I had a issue with one adapter arriving with a broken piece but they were fast with sending a replacement which was fine like the others I had received.

I had no problem installing this replacement plug. You do have to be very mindful of wire cutting measurements so that the wires are neither too tight or too long and in the way of the back going together. Be careful if you remove the blades that they go in the same way they came out, if not the back will not go back on easily, if at all.

I have added this to all my welders and plasma cutters. Very durable, typically guys unplug them toss it to the floor. These plugs haven’t cracked yet. The finger grips on the back also make it easy to plug and unplug while keeping your fingers clea of the prongs.

While the product appears tuff and durable. I have seen other similar product that were quite impressive with some level over over mounding so as to make any product stronger than the sub or average products. Again-its the value in your mind.

A lot of these people think that just because they have a 3-D printer and can make something that they should sell it. This product has broke twice on both 30 amp cables I tried to install it on. I'm a certified RV technician and this is very easy job the plug should hold out but it doesn't the screws strip out.

Decent quality. Follow the directions as to cut length and strip length and it won’t be hard to wire. I use 6/4 rather than 6/3+8/1 and it was more difficult. Tinning the wire ends helps too if you can do it

Seems pretty well built with a nice design that’s user-friendly the instructions, however have a lot to be desired. The company should invest in a strong, technical writer to produce the proper written instructions instead of leaving it up to us and I’m numb skulls.

Easy to replace but I don’t think it will last as long as the factory plug but it works and seal up pretty good I would recommend

I have installed 50amp 4 wire plug caps before, all or most are pretty difficult as the 6 guage wire is tough to deal with in a smaller confined space. The last one I did (another brand) the green ground wire terminal snapped in half as I was tightening the screw.This one however was very different the terminals were on point and the space was ample.With the three finger grip it makes life a lot easier when plugging in and pulling out of the outlet.I am very pleased with this product and…

If you are using 10 gauge stranded wire (as you should be,) the terminal arrangement makes it very difficult to get a good installation. All wire have to make a sharp 90 degree bend, and this is not good for longevity; a wire will break eventually. It is a force-fit no matter how you do it. Overall material is OK. I was not as happy with this product as I thought I would be, the good is the strain relief looks like it will work well and the product will hold up. The product is overall a good product at a good price but I am not a fan of splitting the conductor and is very tight within the body of the plug, I prefer the lug type for connecting the conductors.
