I was about to return them. I read a review that said to connect the yellow wire to a white wire. Then connect this pair to ground. Connect the other white wire to the hot wire. At this point both lights are working. The dealer's instructions are wrong. Addendum: They work, quite brightly and correctly at 1/2 amp at 12V.

These are good headlights. They are very bright. The only reason I rated it a 3 is because the instructions are completely wrong. To a non-technical person, they will never get them to work. The white wire needs to be connected to one of the other wires and then connected to the power supply along with the other single wire. You may need to reverse the connections due to polarity. The response rate must be very high because most people will never understand that.

These lights are very bright. As for the connection instructions that got confused. I had to connect two wires together to warm up and ground myself, but on top of that my work truck caught fire during the night. These lights were perfect for illuminating my display case. The light is bright enough to illuminate the entire room and everything in it. This is a good white light between 48000k and 58000k. I would only recommend checking the wiring from unit to unit as the first unit I got was hooked up backwards. OK, they're bright and easy to install, but they're very loud on FM. 10 by 9 at 144MHz and s7 at 50MHz. There is nothing on HF and UHF. After installing some MIX 31 toroids (15 in total with 3 to 6 turns) and soldering the filter bridge I was able to get them down to s6 144 and s5 at 50MHz. Still too much radio interference.
