Put them in a white theme, made for a friend/client. We were on a tight budget and saw that 3 white LED fans for 14.99 is a steal. Unfortunately, we were only half right. While these fans are great and seem to have pretty good build quality, they're pretty loud and there's no compromise. As some others have said. there is no "golden mean” for them. It's either A) full power, full speed, bright LEDs, or B) quiet mode, low RPM, and no LEDs at all. Attempting to tune these fans to that happy sweet

I am very happy with these fans. I buy a red PWM variant with a red ring that glows nice and evenly over the whole ring. I was worried there would only be a few LEDs visible, but the glowing ring looks great. I also really like the 4-pin PWM function. When installed correctly, you can tell immediately if the CPU is cold or hot, as the LEDs will be bright when the PWM is high, or very dim when the fans are barely spinning. Update 1/27/2020: The first fan died this morning so I'm lowering my rating. I didn't expect them to last forever at this price but wow! I also noticed that the fans get darker over time. They're fine if you need something in a pinch, but don't expect them to look good or last long. I received these as a temporary replacement for a set of Corsair LL series fans that had failed.
