Worst purchase ever

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a Revain purchase. All 3 fans smelled burnt when I opened the box. Not even a little bit. A lot of. I connected each of them and the LEDs lit up nicely. But the fans don't spin. None of those. I even cut off the plugs and tried each directly with a 12V power supply. Same result. The fans didn't work but the lights did. Of course it's only $15 and for that reason I won't even try to get it back. It wouldn't matter because I tried extremely

Good cheap LED fan in case

I've been using it for a year and a half, just a little problem. The problem I found was the molex connection. If you run them in a daisy chain, not all fans will get enough power at the same time. It's best to each get their own power connector (I used a 650 watt bronze connector) to ensure they all work. I found that one of them in front wouldn't rotate even though the LEDs were on, but after adjusting the problem went away. Also, the noise is faint from a foot away and the airflow is more…

Quiet, stable and looks VERY good!

Maximum speed 1140 rpm. The average value is around 1100. The safe minimum is around 600 rpm. I have temperature controls and they are very consistent ie reliable! I still barely hear them in top-flight games, and full speed is consistent and reliable. I really liked the design of the holder. The hub around the wings is the same height as the mounting tabs, directing airflow exactly where it's supposed to be with minimal leakage! Whether pushing or pulling, they work great! LEDs are a definite…

Noise level and LED correlation

If you don't already know, 3-pin fans like this are directly related between voltage and RPM. However, this also means that the less voltage you apply, the less bright the LEDs shine. So the low RPMs mean the LED is virtually non-existent. That is clear. What is unclear is that around 70 percent of the energy is required to switch on the LEDs. It was very noisy just to turn on the led lights. On the other hand, my other fans from a different brand like Thermaltake were running at 30 percent…

Cheap and easy to install

I purchased this item for my desktop that I built for my client with limited funds. Instead of buying fans that don't have LED lights and cost a bit more, I went with this one. Installed fans in front of the PC. A couple of them face forward [airflow] and the other fan I installed faces towards the motherboard [airflow] so it can circulate normally. It seems to be working fine as the temperature of the CPU and motherboard including the GPU is at an acceptable temperature. However, the LEDs seem

Do-it-yourself fan replacement

I'm not a technology grandma. I have very little experience opening up a computer and changing things. But I didn't want to pay for my fans to change. And I'm all about saving a dollar and trying to do things myself. One day I opened the computer case and looked closely at the wiring - I thought "I can do this". Two were very easy to change, the third must have been a bit of a hassle as it was harder to reach. Once you have access, they basically connect and work. The kit includes new screws…

3-pin/4-pin Molex feedthrough (male/female)

I just finished building the budget model. I ended up trying them, why not, and I wasn't disappointed! I bought a set of three green LED case fans (T3GN3-3 GREEN LED) for $15.99 ($5.33 each) and they are very quiet and bright. I wanted to create this review specifically for an issue that I am having I have. So I first connected the 3-pin to the 4-pin of the mobile device (asrock b450m pro4) to turn on these fans, but I noticed that when the computer boots up, the fans and the LED turn on, but…

Great budget fans

Installed almost a week ago and am very satisfied. Installation was easy. Standard case screws, quite long cables, 2 different connector types etc. I connected 3 of them in series on the front of the case, no problem. They are very quiet but efficient and have an amazing glow (not too bright and not too dark). For the price I can't believe how good they are. Why pay more than $40 for equivalent fans from better known brands? Glad they worked with my budget build and 100% recommend them to…
