Upholstered Backless Saddle Counter Stools Review

The stools are good but some screw holes don't match up and one leg that was supposed to have two holes for the cross braces was only one. I had to drill a second one.

It was a great price and the extra padding makes it very comfortable to sit on for long periods. They sell very well and are strong. They were easy to assemble and only one of the 16 legs (we bought 2 sets - 4 bar stools) required extra effort to attach.

Easy to assemble and very pleasing to the eye. However, we have already returned this product once due to defects caused by the manufacturer. The second time we received them we just kept them because it hurts to return them. There were a few loose long cords, and one of the legs doesn't even have a hole to put a screw in to attach the seat.

The fabric and seat are great, but I'm very disappointed that the rest of the bar stool isn't solid wood but cheap composite material. Also very easy to scratch when assembling. To be honest it looks like plastic. Also, the bottom edge of the stool is very sharp and when moving these stools, your fingers naturally go under the seat. If the legs were real wood they would be exactly what I was looking for.

These stools are comfortable and easy to assemble but be careful with the support legs. After getting up, I barely pressed the support leg to slide it back under the counter and it broke in half. The wood is not very durable and gets in the way when you put your feet on it while sitting (which of course you do with a stool). This is disappointing as this is the first time I have sat on the stool since purchasing and building it and I am well under the weight specified for the stool.
