For some reason my old gas cap got stuck and broke when I tried to take it off so it got stuck. Bought this bad boy to replace a criminal and the bad boy does his job just as expected.

Thank goodness it really fits! I've had mismatch issues in the past and was worried it would be useless, but luckily it fits just right and perfectly. I read in a review that it might fall apart after a while. I will update my review when this happens. At the moment I am very, very happy.

Firstly it doesn't look like a factory cap. It has an additional inscription. And most importantly, it wasn't tight enough to hold my valve cover. I noticed lower than normal oil pressure and when I checked the cap it was loose. I hooked it up and then drove on, only to later realize it was backwards again. Choose OEM and don't waste your time.

This gas cap warped on my 1995 Mercedes E320 with M104 engine after only 4 months. He can't stand the heat and the engine has a small burst. First, the O-ring came loose from the cover and stuck to the valve cover. Second, the entire cover is warped or bent, which allows air to flow in and out of the valve cover. These M104 engines require a proper crankcase gasket in order for the engine to idle properly. Buyer warning!
