Worth the money

Unless I had just finished using it I wouldn't believe there was a $13 end mill that cuts cast iron accurately and looks solid enough. Price. Ed B

Excellent value for money Wood

Only used for drilling holes in wood. I have worked with steel lathes and mills for 5 years and my experience tells me that it will probably only cut wood well. There is no need to cut aluminum. If it cuts steel well I'd be surprised, but for $8 it gets 4 stars.

Don't even touch the stainless steel.

I bought a 1 1/8" end mill (from elsewhere) to drill a hole in a stainless steel bar. It worked great. I bought this 22mm end mill to cut a similar hole to drill in the same shank.I used the correct lubrication and speed but this end mill didn't even scratch the shank.It just rolled up the edges of the end mill and turned blue.Just as a test, after the end mill was smoked I laid it down into my lathe and cut the shank. It cut like butter. It was like the end mill hadn't been hardened at all…
