After reading all the reviews, I expected this fan to be noisy. I'm using it as an extra fan for my Norcold RV fridge (an external fan on top of the insufficient fan provided by Norcold) so it runs on 12V DC. It's surprisingly quiet and really lets a lot of air out. very impressive! The Norcold fridge is unable to maintain temperatures below 40 degrees when the ambient temperature is above 90, mainly due to the lack of airflow in the cramped space behind the fridge. I bought this fan to cool GPUs for mining. And it's absolutely the best fan I've ever had, it's completely different from a regular fan. I have a 220cfm fan that bleeds air out of my cards and when I remove and reseat the 220cfm fan my GPU temp drops by 5C.
