Uxcell Thread Protectors 8 Inch Flexible Review

Install the stainless steel screws that hold my dock together and nobody will cut themselves if they make contact with the ends of the 3/8 inch screws.

I needed 46 of these for a project I was working on, unfortunately there were only 42 in the 50 pack I ordered so I was running low schedule and I didn't have time to rework. -order. Sad. Otherwise they worked fine.

These 6mm caps are perfect for 1/4" steel bars. I work with wrought iron a lot and a lot of them have 1/4" round steel bars. The ends of the cut bars may be slightly sharp. These caps cover the ends and look very pretty on the ends. They slide easily over the bar but are firm enough not to fall off.

Their caps are of the highest quality in flexibility, suppleness and durability. I use the 8mm size to hide the sharp ends of the adjustment screws on my camera gear. I also ordered a 12mm size to cover the 1/2" wooden dowels that hold my Native American flutes and I'm happy with that size too for the same reasons as these. 8mm

Used for 3/8 inch screws to protect furniture. They are just the right size to stretch out a bit to cover the threads tightly without worrying about them falling off. I was pleasantly surprised that they are about 5/8 inch long so they cover that much but are easy to trim with scissors to make them shorter if needed. Perfect for what I need them for.

Ordered 6.5mm to cover 1/4 screw threads and they didn't fit. This turned out to be a lucky coincidence as I originally had acorn nuts on the ends of the bolts and it turned out that because they stretch a bit they fitted perfectly (emphasis on perfect) onto the acorn nuts. This serves my purpose of protecting my table from threads and looking good.
