You have a beachfront home and humidity is a constant problem. I was looking for a dehumidifier so I wouldn't have to keep the air conditioning on all the time. I was looking for something that was at least 50 pints and was quiet. This device is more compact than I expected, especially after seeing the packaging it came in. Bought this dehumidifier for my basement after looking at several other brands. I chose this one because it seemed to have most of the features I would research thoroughly at a very reasonable price and fast shipping. Quiet and easy to use

We have an unfinished basement with very high humidity and the dehumidifier has been running 24/7 for a number of years. Our dehumidifier is very noisy and makes the upstairs light flicker when turned on and off. I got a little tired of the noise and flickering so I decided to buy a new dehumidifier. Works great in Charleston, SC Garage with a 19ft boat!

I've had it for almost 2 months now. I can say I checked it. We live near Charleston, SC, I have a 21' x 20' garage where I store a 19.5' boat for a week dammit! I've been using this dehumidifier non-stop since I got it. Yes, you will need to drain it frequently unless you have a permanent drain hose attached. But at night, with a wet boat (all hatches open), with life jackets, a pipe, an anchor and mooring lines, it will reduce the humidity from 70-80% to almost 50%, and if you let it work…

Very disappointed so far

First. it looks cute but I don't think it works as advertised. it does not remove moisture from the air exactly as claimed. but what is even more disappointing is the reservoir. It holds two liters, oh, but what's even more disappointing is the drain hose. every two feet! This isn't my first dehumidifier rodeo. in fact this is my fourth purchase. but this one is worse.
