Good for the price.

My luggage rack and cable nailer broke after a few uses so I had to buy them from Revain quickly to finish my project back home on time. This one seemed to be much better built for a fraction of the price. The nail magazine is a little finicky but other than that it works fine and has a quick access tab to fold down the tab on the nailer head if a nail got stuck which was a major downside of the porter and cable nailer that used cheap hardware. which can be easily separated.

Pros
  • Includes 2 strips of 18GA nails, oil and an Allen key
Cons
  • Don't remember

OK, I'm honestly impressed.

To be honest I did NOT expect to write a good review. I used it for about 8 months to finish our house to put up for sale, hung moldings on it, did some floor and carpet work and installed transition pieces with it. I'm really surprised, I had no problems with it. The safety lever on the front is a bit long and the air vent is in an awkward position when applying hand pressure. BUT it's so damn cheap I don't care if you're a DIY enthusiast or want a few tools for the first time then you'd be…

Pros
  • Drives 18GA nails from 5/8" to 2" length
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Excellent form nailer and very light weight

I got this nailer to pour 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch through my 30 x 30 foot bedroom and bathroom ceiling and floors. French doors and cupboards. I was amazed at how quickly (in time) all my butt glued moldings came on when it came time to assemble them with this finishing nailer. The nailer left no marks on the cedar moldings other than a tiny pinhole that the primer and paint would cover up. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others; ) to save your fingers and time on small

Pros
  • Light body only 2.2 lbs. Operating Air Pressure 70-110 psi (air compressor required)
Cons
  • So far so good
