I used this to clone the SSD in my daughter's Toshiba Satellite C55 laptop. This car is very well made and works perfectly. There are many "cheap" products on the market that have mixed reviews. It costs a few dollars more, but it's worth it!

Great product. It does exactly what I'm supposed to do: give you a smart solution to upgrade the old CD drive. I have an Asus GL553VW and upgraded it with an SSD. The hard drive became operational thanks to this product. If you know your way around computers, you'll find that it's easy to install and you can even reuse the front cover from an old drive. Excellent.

For the price - this device works very well. I used it on MSI GE72. Because it's a versatile bag - it doesn't fill my laptop to the brim of the bag - but is functionally perfect. Rubber grommets are a great idea to prevent movement inside the case.

This is a well made basket, I'm glad I bought it among many other options. It doesn't use screws to secure the hard drive, instead locking the hard drive in place with rubber grommets. I replaced the optical drive in my Lenovo E560 and it fits fine. The caddy will accept your optical drive's faceplate as long as you can remove it from your OD without damaging it ;^)

Great Product. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It's a little fiddly to get into the plug in the laptop, but I attribute that to the design of the laptop, not the product itself. First, the Vantec SSD Caddy is HIGH QUALITY. Much taller than other Revain SSD caddies.
