VCE Combos Degree Vertical Adapter Review

Fits great, looks solid enough. I installed it on a TiVo DVR where there wasn't much room on the back shelf for a regular cable. Used for about a week then found some shows not playing with a message saying the cable isn't HDCP compliant. Of course I removed that adapter and everything was fine again. Obviously something is wrong with the return signal from the TV. I'll probably keep something less sophisticated for possible future use, but will look elsewhere for a higher quality adapter.

Received these today and have already used one on my Yamaha soundbar. Makes connection much easier than trying to screw a cable into an HDMI port on the panel. They don't give you much room to play on the uneven bars and that makes them a lot easier. And the connectors are gold-colored and 4K-compatible. When you buy them, connect the HDMI to the adapters first as they fit right in. Not bad, but you need a close connection. Definitely recommend them.

My Roku 4K Stick installation went perfectly, or so I thought. It was almost invisible, tucked away in a rear alcove with all manner of HDMI and USB ports. Well done. Nice snug fit in HDMI ports. It didn't work for me, but it's not the product's fault. I wanted to point the Roku joystick down instead of plugging it straight into the back of the TV. The TV is wall mounted and there wasn't enough room not to bend the power supply. Cord on Roku a little. The HDMI ports on my TV are recessed maybe 1/2 inch, so they weren't long enough. I bought these because of the odd placement and orientation of LG's HDMI scissor wall mount outputs. I also bought a short (4 inch) HDMI cable to help with cable orientation. I wanted to stay near the back of the TV and run the wire along the moving scissor extension and then along the wall. I wanted the TV to be close to the wall or, if desired, moved away from the wall so the wiring isn't visible. Plugs fully correspond to the description. There is no negative impact on image quality.

Some TVs and receivers with HDMI ports don't have room for cables or devices like ROKU. IOW straight connector for ROKU flash drive. These adapters are ideal for connecting HDMI cables in tight spaces behind wall mounted flat screen TVs. Wanted a nicely built flat screen TV in the kitchen wall so nobody knocks on it.
