This is a great table, sturdy, looks good, nice design, comfortable to use for a TV tray. And the assembly is easy to understand, but getting the screws to line up with the things they screw into is not easy at all. They have to be perfectly lined up and you can't see what you're doing, which is very frustrating. One screw took me well over an hour to make the connection. I have 2 1/2 inch clearance under my sofa. I can slide this table a half foot towards me. I can use my laptop while leaning back in the cushions. This table top 1/2 again bigger than your standard TV table. A little more on the expensive. There is a reason. This is overall a great versatile table!
