The bangs keep their curls after washing. You have to use moose or it will be frizzy. I give it four stars because the bangs are covered in paint. Bangs are not long 18" curly but 18" straight. I would prefer to describe it by wavelength.

Excellent hair quality! But as someone said, the ponytail wasn't exactly 18 inches! But with my flat iron on a very low setting, I ran through it a few times, forcing the curls to loosen a bit and they stretched out to mid-back on my back. Very happy with this ponytail! It's hard to find one that looks truly realistic. I can say this is real human hair, not synthetic. It looks very natural. The color is natural. Powder the bangs to remove some of the new shine.
