The best kitchen knife

This was a Christmas present for my fiance. I probably use it more in the kitchen than he does. Anyway, my knife for everything.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Cut steaks like cotton

Serrated steak knives are hard to find. Thank god I found these. The blade is so thin and sharp it cuts 1.5 inch thick steak like cotton. The handle is also very nice. The whole knife is light.

Pros
  • Perfect for a small home
Cons
  • Functionality

Great utility knife

I got this as a gift for my mom because she never got used to the regular 8 inch chef's knife I gave her before. the same steel as other Victorinox blades. I still prefer the larger chef's knife, but it's great when it's not your thing and looks really nice storing your knives on a magnetic holder or similar.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Easy to hold nice design questionable quality

Nice design and easy to hold but the blade feels too thin because when I cut and hit the wooden cutting board it almost feels like slipping. This happened several times to the point where I wondered if the blade would break. The wood is really nice but it is not as smooth/sanded as you would like and you have to be very careful not to leave it in the water. because I could imagine the wood deforming. I bought this knife and a chef's knife. Both are very sharp, and the wooden handles are a lot…

Pros
  • Nice packaging

  • Can't remember
